Once we hit the year 2000, we all assumed we’d have jet packs. Electra’s Townie Go! 8i is the next best thing. This fun cruiser monitors your pedaling power and speed, and it automatically delivers some surprising power from a Bosch electric motor for an added boost to help conquer hills and ride long distances without breaking a sweat. The electric bits are seamlessly blended into the aluminum Townie frame that features an upright seating position and fat tires for smooth, easy cruising. Combine all that with a maintenance-free 8-speed rear Shimano hub and you’ve got an extremely versatile bike that’s ready to take you anywhere. Plus, Electra’s Flat Foot Technology lowers the seat height for easier stops and starts. Commute to work, run errands, and ride for joy in comfort and style, it can go over 100 miles on a single 3.5-hour charge. And since it boasts front and rear lights, a rear rack, and full fenders, you just replaced your car. The future is here.
